Circa 1958, and just a few short years after Hemmingway wrote The Old Man and the Sea, Vero Marine Center started “Serving Boaters on the Waterfront” when Bob Chesborough opened the business. Family owned and operated since its beginning, and still at the same location, Bruce and Jackie MacIntyre acquired Vero Marine Center in 1977. Vero Marine Center has been providing exceptional service to the boating community while actively involved in assuring that families, friends and potential boat owners enjoy the unspoiled magic of the area. Under the current ownership of Brian Cunningham and Boo MacIntyre, “The Busy Marina” continues to be the areas boating headquarters! Vero Marine Center can handle all your boating needs with new boat sales for Robalo and Grady White boats, as well as pre-owned boats, and brokerage service for your boat. Vero Marine Center is also one of the oldest Yamaha outboard dealers in the United States (since 1984) as well as being the area’s only authorized, full-line, full-service Yamaha outboard dealer. Need a trailer? Vero Marine Center represents Float-On Trailers. As a full-service marina, Vero Marine Center can handle your boating needs from the custom rigging, boat detailing, and a fully stocked ship’s store, all under one roof.
